stayed up to watch interview with a vampire at 1.15am. read the book so long ago, can't really rem the story.
but i love claudia - look so innocent, deceptively vulnerable, yet so utterly cruel, vicious and single minded in satisfying her bloodlust; angry that she will never grow up, forever doll-like, a killer but still pitiful. and the relationship between lestat, louie and claudia, so complicated, love and hate, unwilling. lestat, so cruel, yet quite yong xin liang ku in trying to get louie to accept his nature, that he (a vampire) is a killer. and louie, poor tragic louie, unable to reconcile to his new nature, finally gives in when claudia was made, gives in to lestat's persuasion.
rich, wonderful characters. i'm not eloquent enough to expound on all their traits and appeal. must rem to reread the books when i have time. *sighs*
